Senior members comes from all walks of life and participate in every aspect of CAP. They can participate in emergency services and operations, support the cadet program and provide mentorship for the youth, and provide training and resources for educating others in aerospace education.
Youth from 12-18 years old can join our cadet program, where they participate in leadership and STEM activities with their peers. Cadets also have the opportunity to attend CAP leadership schools, support the community with a color guard and even airplane marshaling, as well as many other activities throughout the nation.

Cadet Sponsor Members:
Parents and guardians who are interested in supporting the program but do not want to join as a senior member may join as a CSM. They help provide adult supervision, transportation, and chaperon overnight activities, as well as any other cadet related tasks deemed necessary and appropriate.
Aerospace Education Member
Civil Air Patrol provides resources to educators to promote aerospace education and STEM. This includes books, activities, guides, and DVDs that can be received for free. CAP also offers grants for teachers to use in the classroom. Please see the flyer here.
